Cross & Canvas Co. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Cross & Canvas Co. mobile application and website at crossandcanvasco.com. We are based in Miami, Florida, United States.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the app experience:

• Account information — If you sign in with Apple, we receive only your name and email address (or an anonymized relay address if you choose to hide your email). We do not receive your Apple ID password.
• Purchase information — Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status, not your payment details.
• App preferences — Your theme settings, selected collections, favorite pieces, and word category selections are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data does not leave your device unless you sign in to sync across devices.
• Usage analytics — We may collect anonymized, aggregated usage data (screen views, feature usage) to improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
• Canvas order information — If you order a canvas print, your shipping address and order details are collected and processed solely to fulfill your order.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the app
• Process and fulfill canvas print orders
• Manage your Premium subscription status
• Sync your preferences across devices (if signed in)
• Send optional daily reminder notifications (only if you enable them)
• Respond to support requests

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond what is listed above.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Apple — for Sign in with Apple and App Store subscription processing
• Canvas print fulfillment partners — shipping address only, solely to fulfill your order
• Legal compliance — if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users

5. Data Storage & Security

Your app preferences are stored locally on your device. If you choose to sync across devices by signing in, your data is stored securely on our servers using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

Art content is served from Cloudflare's global content delivery network. No personal data is associated with content requests.

We retain order information only as long as necessary to fulfill your order and comply with applicable tax and legal requirements.

6. Push Notifications

The app may request permission to send push notifications for daily reminders. This is entirely optional. You may enable or disable notifications at any time through your device's Settings app. We do not send marketing or promotional push notifications without your explicit consent.

7. Children's Privacy

Cross & Canvas Co. is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Export your data in a portable format

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell personal information. California residents may request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected, the purposes for collection, and any third parties with whom it is shared. 10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify users through the app or by email. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
